About me

biog I’ve worked as a professional photographer since 2000. My commissions have included assignments with UNICEF, Anti-Slavery International and ActionAid, as well as international media such as The Daily Telegraph, The Sunday Times Magazine and Reuters.

In that time, I have shown my work in more than a dozen exhibitions worldwide and it has been recognised by sixteen industry awards, most recently First Prize for Multimedia at The Press Photographer’s Year 2013. For three years I was based in Nairobi, working throughout Africa.

I started my career taking informal portraits of nursery school children for parents and have continued to work as a family and event photographer, alongside my photojournalism and multimedia work. My camera has taken me all over the world, and I’ve been fortunate to take portraits of many fascinating people.

I’d love to help you take the next steps as a photographer, whether starting right from the beginning or improving the skills you have. My workshops are relaxed, informal and fun. You’ll meet like-minded people or you can arrange to organise your own workshop with friends. And I’ll get you out and about with your camera, so you can put what you learn to the test.
